I get a 'Checksum Invalid' error message. What does it mean?

You will receive a "checksum invalid" or compatible error when the CMOS
has not been cleared properly. The new bios version in the chip and the
old bios version in the CMOS are conflicting. If you have followed your
manuals procedures for clearing the CMOS with no luck, remove the CMOS
battery for at about 8 hours. This will clear the CMOS.

NOTE: if the error says BIOS ROM CHECKSUM ERROR contact tech support for replacement BIOS chip.
