When I boot with the BIOS upgrade, i get an error message: CMOS Checksum Error, defaults loaded?
This error is normal, This will come up any time the CMOS is cleared.
To correct, enter CMOS Setup and Load defaults. Then save and exit
If the error persists replace the CMOS battery.
If after replacing the battery the error occurs more than once then
either the motherboard is faulty or the BIOS may be incorrect for this
motherboard.
